Noel Katz's pastiche of Gilbert and Sullivan was performed by the Edinburgh University Savoy Opera Group enthusiastically and tunefully.

Great music this is not, but great fun and a pleasant way to waste an hour nevertheless.

However, the chunks of the printed programme promoting EUSOG's Musical Director's efforts to become a Tory Councillor seemed a bit out of place and presumably don't represent the politics of the whole Group.
