In this one-woman show, Kate cleverly takes on the persona of 3 teenage girls, 2 teenage boys, 2 teachers and a father to deliver the Debutante Diaries. The production features a chronological 3-month run-up to the all-consuming ‘Deb Ball’, culminating in the event itself. This teen flick-esque drama deals with serious issues and exposes dangerous and discriminative attitudes in an original way, however the squeaky voices and hyperbolic musings were in parts like, totally, annoying.
