Wow – the Free Fringe. And just ’cos it’s free doesn’t make it shite. Shelley Cooper is a rising star, she’s taking her time, but she’ll be very famous one day. She’s angry, spiteful, hard hitting, hilarious and political. From the hypocrisy of blaming global warming on the poor, to her insightful observations on reality TV, she is relentless in attacking all that’s wrong in the world. She falls one short of five stars simply because, occasionally, very occasionally, she forgets to take us all along with her.
