Do you hate audience participation? Fine, arrive on time, turn off your mobile, sit away from the front row - you’ll be OK. There are enough Fringe goers out there who are only too delighted to have the splendid Mr Amos take the piss out of them. Indeed, Stephen chatting with the audience for an hour would be a 5 star show in itself, but he also has a story to tell. He ‘came out’ as gay on stage during his Edinburgh show last year in a performance that blew everybody (including this reviewer) away. In 2007 he finds the funny in everything from growing up black and gay, to the negative effects of religion, to getting a role in EastEnders. Thank God he has met his very own high standards. Genius.
