This is not just for SF geeks, but everyone. Mind you, I bet there’ll be a fair share of ‘Comic Book Guys’ from The Simpson’s in the audience every night, taking a break from playing Dungeons & Dragons and downloading fake nude pics of Gillian Anderson from the Internet. Dean Haglund (who played recurring character Langley in the series) improvises a typical XFiles episode from suggestions in the audience. Simple, in both concept and execution, the show really works. Dean is a confident, quick-witted, razor-sharp performer. Improvised one-liners from a master. I’ve never seen so many comic risks pay off so seemingly effortlessly. Every single mouth in this capacity filled room was roaring with laughter non-stop. Best X-Files episode ever.
