An upbeat, fast-paced performance incorporating a variety of talent and theme. A medieval monk narrates his tale of giant ‘Gargantua’ to his fellow monks, inspired by doubts as to the merits of religious-imposed sexual repression. The performance contains serious messages about alcoholism and a ‘PC’ society, as 2 giants venture for ultimate fulfilment. This performance manages to convey a serious message whilst simultaneously making me laugh the whole time. A cheery and energetic performance with dancing, acrobaticstyle stunts, and beautiful singing accompanied by acoustic guitar. A highly recommended and moving show.
