It’s Craig Hill and of course the queue into the building is long and started well before the show is due to begin. Not a spare seat in the hall. He enters in his typical fashion to camp music playing and his own very unique way of snaking his way around the stage with long striding legs and arms waving to a loud applause. Craig has arrived! Lots of audience participation – poor David! Craig talks about his experiences when he was growing up and that of his friends, filled with funny anecdotes with no topic too risky to delve into. He’s a very clever and sharp-witted comedian. I came away with a feel good factor despite some of it being at the cost of some unfortunate members of the public. Unfortunate is probably the wrong word as I get the impression they enjoyed their interactions with him. He had a great ending to his show. I expect he will have a full audience throughout the festival.
